How Does it Work?
Students are given four cards. Each card is a different color – Green, Brown Blue and Red. On the front of each card are images and on the reverse text
Students are asked to study the cards and decide which images and descriptions are most like them. They are asked to list them in order of preference
This process helps participants identify their preferred and non-preferred behaviours
The course then processes the issues in relation to each card and the impact on the student’s behaviour and that of others
Winning Colors® is based on the premise that all people have the ability to draw on four main behaviours – planning and thinking; leadership and decision making. relating and feeling; action and challenges – and that we all have behavioural preferences which may be stronger in some than others. Everyone has the capacity to bring up different behaviours in various situations. We are the sum of all our four behaviours. By looking at the pictures on the cards and reading the words you are able to identify behaviour preferences. Once you have identified the behaviour you have the opportunity to accentuate a strength and improve a weakness. Change a behaviour, achieve a better result
Winning Colors® draws on cognitive behavioural therapy practices by identifying a present behaviour, developing a desired state or behaviour and putting in place actions or interventions to change behaviour and change the result and achieving the desired outcome. In the last 20 years over 2 million Americans have had the Winning Colors® experience
